NSF/DOE Partnership in Plasma Science

The National Science Foundation has entered into a new partnership with the Department of Energy to solicit proposals relevant to basic plasma science and engineering. Information is at: http://www.nsf.gov/pubs/2005/nsf05619/nsf05619.pdf. Deadline for proposal submission is January 6, 2006.

Persons who have pending proposals that would be appropriate for this program should contact the cognizant program officer If it is determined that the proposal fits into the program, you will have two options: (1) simply have the program officer transfer the proposal from the base program to the Plasma Partnership program, or (2) withdraw the current proposal for modifications and resubmit.
