Takaya Hayashi Passes Away

The world fusion community mourns the death of Prof. Takaya Hayashi, Director of Theory Analysis division at the National Institute of Fusion Studies (NIFS) in Japan,Prof. Hayashi died on April 13, 2006 at the age of 53 after a long struggle with cancer.

He was a great plasma simulation researcher as well as an excellent leader of his research group.
