Input Sought on U. S. Energy Policy

In a news released dated February 11, the U. S. Department of Energy said it was seeking public input on U. S. Energy Policy. It said the input would be sought at three public meetings, February 12 in Houston, February 13 in Davis Calilfornia and February 19 in Washington DC. Comment can also be sent to DOE by fax at (202) 586-4025 or by mail to USDOE, Office of Policy and International Affairs, P0-4, 1000 Independence AV SW, Washington DC 20585. Comments must be received by February 23, DOE said. The comments are sought based on a 15 page draft Energy Policy document that DOE said is available at the following web site: http://www.eren.doe.gov/nes.html/. Comments can be sent to DOE directly from the web site, DOE said. DOE plans to submit a final document to Congress in the late spring.
