Background:
Dr. Harilal received his Ph.D. in Photonics in 1998 from the
Cochin University of Science & Technology, Kochi India. From 1999-2001 he was Alexander von Humboldt fellow at the Institute fuer Experimentalphysik at Ruhr Univeristaet, Bochum.
He is currently pursuing research on high power laser-material interactions.
Research and Academic Interests:
Laser and Plasma spectroscopy, Laser plasma x-ray sources, Laser-matter interaction, Colliding plasmas, Plasma spectroscopy, Laser induced photothermal phenomena.
Dr. Harilal also has served as Lecturer in Physics at Sree Narayana College.
