Detailed Description:

The web-based Fusion Facilities and Personnel Directory contains two major elements:
1. A flat-file ASCII database containing entries for each member of participating organizations
2. Contact information for each participating organization.
A powerful search engine is used, courtesy of Gossamer Threads, Inc.. This software allows relatively simple searches by a single keyword, or more advanced searches that screen for various fields in the database (go to search form).

The initial database has been provided courtesy of Fusion Power Associates (1999). Maintenance of the database can be performed by authorized site administrators. FPA will continue to support the operation of the web site, but will not support the ongoing maintenance of the data contained herein. Database management functions include adding, deleting or modifying entries (see help on database functions).
This software runs on a DELL server workstation running LINUX. All editting and design were performed on an Apple Powerbook G3. We don't do windows here.
