PSpice Software

PSpice software is available in several flavors. Two most popular versions with our students are:

Electronic Workbench (http://www.interactiv.com/). This is a commercial software (i.e., you have to buy it, but it is cheap for students).

OrCAD PSpice (http://www.orcad.com/) You can download a Demo version of this software for free. Current version is 16.0.

The PSpice Lab (329 EBUII) has ORCAD PSpice. Combination for the electronic lock was distributed in the class. Send E-mail to Prof. Najmabadi if you do not have the combination.

Downloading ORCAD PSpice:

You can down-load the latest version of OrCAD PSpice from http://www.cadence.com/products/orcad/downloads/orcad_demo/index.aspx. (See the bottom of the page). You need to fill out a registeration form. You may also want to download the manuals.

Note that this is a large program (about 683 MB) so it may take a long time to down load even on a DSL line.

The following Primer will help you get started on ORCAD PSpice.
Download PSpice Primer (v 3.0) in pdf or in MS Word .
